Mr. Jewel Mallick is passionate for teaching and research. His research works are aiming in buccal film and pellet development, and in the long run, finding better Pharmaceutical dosage form. He obtained his B.Pharm.(Hons) from BGC Trust University Bangladesh and M.Pharm.(Thesis) from State University of Bangladesh. Now he is pursuing his M.Phil. at Jahangirnagar University. He is a registered pharmacist (A-3969) with the Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh. In 2012, Mr. Jewel started his career in Albion Laboratories Ltd. which is a leading pharmaceutical company in Chittagong. In Albion, he developed strong leadership, communication and administrative skills while working as a Production Pharmacist and later as the In-Charge of veterinary production.

Mr. Jewel started his teaching career as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Pharmacy at BGC Trust University Bangladesh from 2014 and afterward promoted to Lecturer and now serving as Assistant Professor.

Formulation development is one of the major areas of Mr. Jewel’s research. In his research career, he developed several mucoadhesive buccal film dosage forms which is totally new in Bangladesh Pharma market and also advancement of pellet technology. His research findings were published in high impact peer reviewed national and international journals. He supervised many project students.
