CSE Sports Fest 2025 came to a spectacular close yesterday with a vibrant closing ceremony. The sports fest showcased the talent of young, energetic players from different semesters of the Computer Science & Engineering department, culminating in a thrilling final match and a celebratory event filled with emotions, excitement, and inspiring speeches. Following the exciting final match(Football and cricket), the closing ceremony started with a colourful parade of participating teams, students, teachers, and officials. Honourable Vice-Chancellor Dr. A. F. M. Aowrangazab praised the players and organisers for their dedication and passion. "This tournament has been a testament to the power of sports in fostering camaraderie and healthy competition," he said. Honourable Registrar Dr. S. M. Shoaib also addressed the gathering, emphasising the importance of participating in outdoor activities and sports to develop physical and mental growth. He highlighted the positive impact of sports on the community and reiterated the commitment to supporting future sporting events. The chairman of CSE department Md. Salahuddin Chowdhury, convenor and faculty members, was also present at the vibrant closing ceremony. The winners and runner-ups of cricket and football tournaments were felicitated with medals and trophies of appreciation.
