Dr. Mita Mazumder is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration, BGC Trust University Bangladesh. She has earned about 17 years teaching experiences in the same department. Completing her graduation in Economics from the University of Chittagong, She successfully completed her M.Phil. degree in the Department of Economics at the same university, with research focused on the socio-economic impact of solar energy in rural Bangladesh. She also earned her Ph.D. in the same research area, with an expanded focus, under the supervision of the same entity. She is interested in continuing her research on energy issues in general and renewable energy in particular, with the hope of contributing to the country's efforts to achieve sustainable development goals..
