  • Pranjal Datta is working as a Jr. Lecturer in the Department of Law at the BGC Trust University Bangladesh. He is a highly motivated and accomplished individual with a strong academic foundation and a passion for social justice and human rights. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a Thesis and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Barisal, achieving remarkable academic success. His thesis focused on "Implications of Sexual and Reproductive Rights of Rohingya Women under the Human Rights Approach from the Context of Bangladesh," with data collected from Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar.

    His research interests span across human rights, refugee law, criminology, and the criminal justice system, showcasing his dedication to creating a meaningful impact in these domains. He has developed professional skills in legal practice under a senior advocate at the Chittagong Judge Court, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, data analysis, reporting, and content writing.

    Beyond academics, Pranjal is a seasoned leader and an active contributor to society. He has served as President of the Rotaract Club of Barisal University and the Chattogram Students Welfare Association, demonstrating exceptional leadership, organizational, and advocacy skills. As a member of various organizations such as Ucchas, the Barishal University Debating Society, and SERAC Bangladesh, he has actively participated in community-building initiatives, debates, and awareness campaigns.

    Pranjal’s dedication to social welfare is evident through his roles as a youth leader in "Youth Ending Hunger Bangladesh" and a divisional youth advocate for SERAC Bangladesh, where he has worked towards improving lives, building capacity, and fostering innovative solutions.

    His achievements include being the Champion of a mentoring debate and the runner-up in an English debate at the Barishal University Debating Society. With a blend of academic excellence, leadership experience, and a commitment to societal betterment, Pranjal continues to inspire and contribute to positive change in his community and beyond.
