Dr. Md. Zia Uddin has been working as an associate professor in the Department of Pharmacy at the BGC Trust University Bangladesh. He is currently working on traditional, complementary & alternative medicines of Bangladesh. His area of research also, focuses on the different biological activities of plant extracts and molecular docking, and ADME/T property analysis of isolated compounds from various medicinal plants. Fundamentally, his research interest is to develop a bridge between wet and dry lab efforts, especially on natural products with therapeutic value. Besides this, his interest is to understand the phenotypic expression of different cardiovascular and neurodegenerative aging-related diseases. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers, posters, and abstracts in the above research areas. He supervised many B. Pharm Project students. His current Google Scholar citation count is 389, and his h-index is 12 and i10-index is 14.
