BGC Trust University Bangladesh marked the successful completion of a workshop entitled “Multimedia Journalism, Storytelling Redefined: Exploring Multimedia Journalism”  organized by the Department of Journalism and Media Studies, BGCTUB, on 5th December, 2024, at IQAC Conference Hall with an enthusiastic group of students. The workshop aimed at enhancing skills and providing in-depth knowledge on multimedia journalism.

The workshop featured a lineup of distinguished speakers and experts, including the facilitator, Mr. Majumder Babu, Head of Multimedia, The Business Standard (TBS), who shared his expertise and engaged with the participants through interactive discussions. This workshop was chaired by Mr. Yasir Silmy, Chairman (In-charge), Department of Journalism and Media Studies. The special guest was Dr. S. M. Shoaib, Registrar (In-charge), BGC Trust University Bangladesh, and the chief guest, Prof. Dr. A. F. M. Aowrangazab, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, BGC Trust University Bangladesh, was also present in the workshop. The attendees also had the opportunity to network with industry professionals, opening doors to future collaborations. The workshop concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, where attendees were recognized for their participation in the workshop.
