  • Abdullah Al Noman  is working as a Jr. Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy at the BGC Trust University Bangladesh.He is a dedicated and accomplished pharmacist (Reg. No. A17839) with extensive expertise in research and development within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently an R&D (Analytical) Officer at Incepta Pharmaceuticals Limited, Abdullah specializes in analytical method development, validation, comparative dissolution testing, and stability studies for both new and existing pharmaceutical products.
    Abdullah’s academic background reflects his commitment to excellence, holding an M. Pharm from the State University of Bangladesh and a B. Pharm from the International Islamic University Chittagong. His research contributions span ethnopharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and natural product drug discovery.
    He has authored several publications in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Ethnopharmacology and Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy.
    He also possesses a robust set of technical skills, including molecular docking, chromatography (HPLC, GC), UV spectroscopy, and data analysis tools like SPSS and GraphPad Prism. His leadership and volunteer work further showcase his ability to balance technical expertise with community impact, making him a valuable asset in pharmaceutical research and development.

    Microbiology: aseptic and sterile techniques, microscopy, bacterial staining, enumeration and identification of bacteria, use of biological safety cabinets, media/buffer preparation, an antimicrobial study by disc diffusion and turbidity methods.

    Chemistry: solution preparation, titrations, extractions filtrations, solubility tests, TLC, HPLC, GC, LOD, Moisture Content determination by KF titrator.

    Computational drug design and discovery: Medicinal chemistry, Protein modeling, and dynamic simulation, in silico ligand structure and fragment-based drug design, Chemical modeling and chemoinformatics, Protein-protein interaction analysis etc.

    Experience in general animals (mouse and rats) handling and breeding.

    Software: Various molecular modeling and CADD software, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, MS Office EndNote and Mendeley.  Operating Systems: Mac OS, Windows 7/8/10/11, Windows XP.

    Statistical Analysis: Graph pad Prism and SPSS (Statistical Software Package).
